Komdigi Positive Website Trust Can't Be Accessed, Error Or Blocked?

JAKARTA - Positive Trust Service belonging to the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, which is commonly used as a database that displays a list of sites blocked by the government, has errors.

When accessed on Sunday, April 27, the trustpositive.komdigi.go.id site displays the HTTP Error 500 message. In fact, his old address is trusted positively.kominfo.go.id issued the "Your connection is not private" warning aka the connection is not safe.

In the view of the error, the browser warns of potential data theft because site security certificates are invalid (NET:ERR_CERT_COMMON_INVALID).

This indicates that there is a serious problem on the server side or the management of SSL certificates which should be the basic safety standard.

The Trust Positive site has been used to check whether a website is blocked by Komdigi. But with this incident, instead of providing a sense of security, the public was confused and worried.

Launching from McAfee, in this case, website owners usually have to update licenses regularly to ensure the site's encryption capabilities are always up-to-date.

If the SSL certificate of websites expires, meaning site owners haven't updated their encryption licenses, it doesn't seem like this is a big deal. Even large websites have experienced a slowdown indicating the message.

While it doesn't always mean the website isn't safe to explore, the leading cybersecurity company asks users to be careful. Because, using a site without SSL connection can make your personal data less secure.
