Commemorating Earth Day, Today's Google Doodle Highlights Natural Beauty With Unique Formation

JAKARTA Google Search users will see interesting doodles today. The company features a portrait of Earth taken from the air and it looks like it is composing the word 'Google'.

This interesting portrait was chosen as Doodle Today to celebrate Earth Day. Google says that it deliberately selects landscapes from various parts of the world that make up the letters. All of these images are taken from Google Earth's digital map.

Google also describes the landscape arrangement of each letter. For a landscape with letters resembling 'G' at the beginning, it is a tropical archipelagic country in the Maldives. The burial place consists of twenty fotmations of ring-shaped coral reefs.

This coral reef formation is familiarly referred to as an atoll. Next, the landscape in the form of the letter 'O' is an Alps in the highlands. The natural waist is located in the Hautes-Alpes, precisely in the French Alps.

"This stunning world has a rocky forest field, a unique Alps ecosystem formed by harsh conditions, and a variety of wildlife including chamois,atas, and golden eagles," Google explained on the official Google Doodle website.

The landscape with the next letter 'O' is Crypte-Nord in Quebec. This is a forest that is not visited by humans because it is in the border area of the St River. Lawrence from Tadoussac to Blanc-Sablon. This forest is a place for tough plants and animals.

Furthermore, portraits of arid areas with a shape like 'G' are Mendoza Province in West Argentina. This area is surrounded by the rivers of Mendoza, Tunuy airing, Dimanante, and Atuel, which originates in the mountains.

The next landscape is Southeast Utah, part of the US. The portrait that Google took was the corner of the highlands in Colorado lifted by tectonic forces. This angle has a valley engraved by the river.

The last portrait that Google displayed in today's Doodle is a small area in the form of the letter 'E' in the western part of New South Wales, Australia. This area has flat to bumpy soil with drought-resistant plants.
