JAKARTA - Garena will soon hold the 2025 Spring Free Fire World Series Southeast Asia (FFWS SEA), which will start from April 25 to June 14.
This tournament will bring together 18 of the best teams from the Southeast Asia region, including the five strongest teams from Indonesia who are ready to bring the trophy home to their homeland and a total prize of US$375,000 (Rp6.3 billion).
The tournament will come with a hybrid Knockout round on April 25-1 June 2025, and contiguous to the final round of June 13-14, 2025, which will take place in Hanoi, Vietnam.
As in the previous season, the FFWS FFWS FFWS round will be the qualifying round to choose the 12 best teams towards the Finals. The difference is, this time Garena introduces a new challenge by dividing this round into two phases.
In the First Phase on April 25-May 11, 18 teams will compete for the top 12 to qualify for Phase 2. In this phase, they will return to compete for 2 weeks, on May 16-25, 2025, with 12 teams per day.
The leaders of the standings on every day of the match will get an automatic ticket to the final round. So, from 6 matches over 2 weeks, there will be 6 teams that qualify for the final round.
