Siri Will Get Three Major Improvements in iOS 19, Here Are The Features

JAKARTA – Apple failed to make Siri smarter this year. According to the company's statement in early March, a more sophisticated Siri with Apple Intelligence support will be delayed until 2026.

Although the major update has been postponed, Siri will get many improvements in the iOS 19 update. According to a report by 9to5mac, some of these features will start to be expanded in the fall of this year. Here are some of the Siri improvements in iOS 19.

Siri that Understands User Activity Better

In iOS 19, Siri can access users' personal data while still prioritizing privacy. This virtual assistant will understand its users better and provide assistance when needed.

For example, when users get a song suggestion from a friend, they can ask Siri to play the song. Siri will access emails or messages related to the name of the person mentioned by the user, then search for the suggested song.

Multi-application Requests

The next capability is almost similar to the first capability. It's just that, in this new capability, Siri is able to perform complex tasks, namely accessing several applications to carry out one command.

Users can ask Siri to send a photo taken in the morning to one of the accounts in iMessage. By requesting this, users do not need to open the gallery application or iMessage because Siri will do its job at the same time.

Screen Awareness

When iOS 19 was released, Apple promised a deeper understanding of Siri. The virtual assistant not only reads all of its users' data, but is able to read what is currently displayed on the screen.

If a user is opening something and asks Siri to remember what they are looking at, Siri will remember it. This is a smart way to remember important agendas without having to write them down manually.
