JAKARTA Samsung Galaxy is one of the Android phones that utilizes Gemini' sophistication, especially in the Galaxy S25 series. Therefore, Samsung will get the latest Gemini Live feature.

As part of Project Astra, Google introduced the ability to enable cameras during chat with the Gemini Artificial Intelligence (AI) model. With this capability, users can chat in real-time.

This feature has started rolling out by Google and is still limited to a number of devices. Fortunately, Samsung will be one of the main Android devices that will feature making video calls with Gemini Live.

Samsung said that this latest AI experience was launched on April 7 for free. However, the first model to receive this update is the Galaxy S25 series. Samsung did not explain when the feature would be extended to older models.

"With this new visual capability, the Galaxy S25 series presents the next generation of AI experiences, setting new standards on how users interact with the world through their devices," said Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of the Mobile EXperience Business Customer Experience Office at Samsung Electronics.

According to Samsung, adding a new feature at Gemini can help users complete a number of tasks or activities. For example, when users are confused about choosing paint colors for the walls, they can ask Gemini Live for advice.

Users only need to point the camera at the pool of paint they have, then ask questions. Gemini Live will give a direct response. Users can also choose clothes with Gemini's help.

For example, when they want to come to a concert event and have difficulty combining outfits, they can direct the camera and Gemini Live will provide advice. Gemini Live can even provide advice on how to categorize goods or optimize the room.

To use this feature, users only need to open Gemini, activate the Gemini Live feature, then activate the camera option. For an easier way, users only need to press the side button, activate the camera on Gemini Live, then navigate the camera.
