JAKARTA - Sport Interactive developers and SEGA publishers announced that they have officially canceled the launch of Football Manager 25, and will focus on the next release.

"We know this will be a huge disappointment, especially given that the release date has been pushed back twice. We can only apologize for the required time," the studio wrote in an announcement on its official website.

In its official statement, the developer acknowledged that the development of FM25 experienced various technical and visual problems, which made this game not yet reached the expected standard.

Even though the team has worked very hard to meet the target, the user experience and interface are still not optimal. They also don't want to launch this game more than March.

They also confirmed that all customers who have pre-ordered will get full refunds.

"We could just go ahead, release FM25 in the current conditions, and fix it later in the day - but that's not the right thing to do. We also don't want to release more than March because it's too late," he added.

With the cancellation of FM25, the studio ensures that all team efforts are now completely diverted to the next release. They are also committed to presenting the biggest technical and visual improvements in Football Manager's history.

"Through this cancellation, all efforts are now focused on ensuring that the next release achieves our goals and achieves the quality level we expect," he stressed.
