JAKARTA - Google.org announced that it has chosen 20 universities that will receive support from Google.org to increase access to cybersecurity education on their campuses.
In 2023, Google.org has launched the Cybersecurity Seminar program in Europe with a disbursement of USD 15 million (IDR 122.5 billion), with this expansion, Google.org will present a similar program to higher education institutions located in the Middle East and Africa.
As part of this program, non-profits engaged in technology, Virtual Routes, will help universities adjust their programs and curriculum to serve the cybersecurity landscape as well as possible.
Through this program, thousands of students will be able to experience cybersecurity education directly through various activities such as internships, guidance from cybersecurity professionals, and hackathons.

The universities will also have access to Titan's donated Security Key and free cybersecurity training, thanks to Google.org's partnership with Possible Digital, a leading European Union-based GovTech company.
