AMD Launches 3 Latest AI PC Processors At CES 2025 Exhibition

JAKARTA AMD introduced the latest processor at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The processors are AMD Ryzen AI Max, AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series, and AMD Ryzen 200 Series.

These three processors are specially designed for PC needs and each series gets a Pro model. Unlike ordinary processors, the Ryzen Pro Series process is equipped with security tools and management at the company level.

Jack Huynh, Senior VP and General Manager of Computing and Graphics Group AMD, said that the ranks of this latest processor are not only equipped with the best security. They also added Artificial Intelligence (AI) support to the processor.

"With the next generation of processors supporting AI, we deploy AI to devices everywhere and bring the strength of workstation to thin and lightweight laptops," said Jack, quoted from AMD's official website on Tuesday, January 7.

AMD Series Processor Ryzen AI Max can support PC AI with incredible power and performance. This processor is suitable for use by gamers, content creators, or users with a heavy workload so that the computer must be adequate.

This processor offers 16 inches of Zen 5 CPU and AMD XDNA 2 Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with AI processing capability of up to 50 TOPS 1. With an integrated memory of up to 128 GB, this processor is claimed to be suitable for supporting multi-tasking activities.

Meanwhile, the Ryzen AI 300 Series processor is designed for notebooks with Premium AI experience. This processor has 8 Zen 5 CPU cores and the latest RDNA 3.5 graphic architecture. Thanks to NPU 3, its performance is five times better than the first generation NPU.

Finally, AMD Ryzen 200 Series uses Zen 4's power on the FP8 platform which presents AI capabilities. With 8 CPU cores, 16 TOPS NPUs, to RDNA 3 AMD graphics, this processor is suitable to support the work of professionals every day.
