JAKARTA Apple has officially introduced ChatGPT integration into iPhone devices through its latest operating system update. This feature has long been awaited and is expected to boost sales of the latest iPhone, especially in the year-end holiday season which is the company's most profitable sales period.

This move is part of a wider rollout of artificial intelligence (AI)-based tools in the updating of the iOS, iPadOS, and macOS operating systems. With this integration, Siri's voice assistant is now able to take advantage of ChatGPT's ability to answer various user questions, including those related to photos or documents such as presentations.

Not only that, users can also take advantage of the Writing Tools feature to create writing content in applications that support this feature, and use the image creation capability of ChatGPT to add illustrations to their projects.

These new AI features will be available for the iPhone 16 series, as well as the Pro and Pro Max models from the iPhone 15. In addition, the iPad with the A17 Pro or M1 chip and above, and the Mac with the M1 chip and above can also enjoy this latest capability.

The launch comes amid the peak of the holiday shopping season, as Apple seeks to strengthen the iPhone 16 sales cycle, which investors have doubts about due to the slow rollout of the AI feature.

This ChatGPT integration is expected to be a major attraction for consumers and strengthen Apple's position as the leader of artificial intelligence-based technological innovation.
