Bitcoin Predicted To Reach IDR 2.4 Billion Per Coin At The End Of 2024

JAKARTA - The King of crypto, Bitcoin (BTC), has made a new history again by breaking into the psychological level of 103,900 US dollars (around Rp1.66 billion) on Thursday 5 December. This impressive price spike confirmed Bitcoin's position as the world's most valuable digital asset.

Along with this new record price, experts began competing to predict where Bitcoin's next course would go. Predictions circulating in the market are quite diverse, but one thing is for sure: expectations of the price of Bitcoin by the end of 2024 tend to be very bullish.

The well-known investment firm, ARK Invest, known for its aggressive views on Bitcoin, projects the minimum price of Bitcoin by the end of the year to reach 124,000 US dollars (around Rp1.98 billion).

Technical analysts also agree with this positive sentiment. Jelle, an experienced crypto analyst, for example, sees a graphic pattern that indicates a potential increase in the price of Bitcoin to US$130,000 (around Rp2.08 billion).

Not only analysts, but the prediction platform also enlivens talks about the price of Bitcoin in the future. A prediction platform like Kalshi shows a higher consensus, with the target of an average Bitcoin price at the end of the year reaching 128,000 US dollars (around Rp. 2.05 billion). In fact, there is a small possibility, around 10%, that Bitcoin could penetrate the fantastic level of 150,000 US dollars (around Rp. 2.4 billion).

However, more extreme predictions, such as Bitcoin reaching 250,000 US dollars (approximately IDR 4 billion), are still considered too optimistic by most market participants. Meanwhile, on Friday 6 December, Bitcoin was trading at IDR 1.56 billion per coin based on CoinMarketCap data this afternoon.
