Lintaarta Presents Free AI To Strengthen Indonesia's Digital Ecosystem

Lintaarta has officially launched the AI Merdeka initiative, a movement that focuses not only on technological advances, but also on preparing superior digital talent in Indonesia.

"Lintasarta is here to empower Indonesia by accelerating the development of the nation's digital potential," said Bayu Hantasena, President Director & CEO of Lintaarta in a written statement quoted Monday, November 25.

The core program of AI Merdeka, which is a collaboration of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Lintaarta, and ecosystem partners, carries the theme Accelerating AI Adoption for Indonesia Emas 2045 will include:

Laskar AI: A scholarship program designed to develop the next AI professional generation through Machine Learning and Data Science training, in order to produce developers who can take advantage of AI for innovative solutions through its collaboration with Dicoding.

Universe AI: A platform for startup and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in developing AI-based solutions that support innovation in various industrial sectors.

"The launch of AI Merdeka marks an important milestone in realizing Indonesia as a global digital power," saidten Sinha, President Director & CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.

Through AI Merdeka,men said they were optimistic that this initiative could strengthen Indonesia's AI sovereignty as well as open up great opportunities for the nation's progress in the future.

Furthermore,men emphasized that AI Merdeka not only supports the acceleration of AI adoption, but also provides concrete support to academics, researchers, developers, and startups through the provision of GPU credits.

This initiative also supports the Indonesian Government's vision to maximize the benefits of technology in encouraging sustainable digital economic progress, as well as strengthening Indonesia's leadership in the digital realm globally.
