JAKARTA One of the popular products from Google will get an upgrade. Google Lens, a tool that is usually used to search for related objects, will help users shop quickly.
Google says that Lens is used more than 20 billion times to conduct visual searches. Of the total search, 20 percent of users are looking for objects to buy. Therefore, Google wants to make it easier for users with this new feature.
Starting November 19, Lens users can take any photos to get product information, similar products available, and compare prices from several stores. Lens users can also view reviews from buyers.
"Now, to help you make a more appropriate decision when shopping at stores, Google Lens can quickly show product insight that is tailored to the store where you shop," Google said on its official website.
Google added that this new capability is supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI) so that image recognition technology can work optimally. This feature will help users decide the right products or stores.
