NASA Showcases Drones And Space Wahana At California Air Exhibition

JAKARTA NASA shared its experience while participating in the Miramar Air Show, an annual military air show, in San Diego, California last September. The air show was held for three days.

The US space agency presents a number of aviation experts from the Armstrong Flight Research Center,tanch Research Center, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). They describe various NASA missions, rides used, to findings in the universe.

During the Miramar Air Show, NASA's exhibition tent was visited by 2,000 participants from various age groups, ranging from children to adults. All visitors present want to know the various innovations that NASA has made.

Derek Abramson, Head of Subscale Technician Flight Research Laboratory at Armstrong, explained that this air show is not only focused on human innovation, but also on aircraft and the various advanced technologies that have been successfully developed.

"I've met a lot of new people, worked with an amazing team, and made friends with other NASA centers, talking about what we're doing here as a cohesive organization," Abramson said, quoted from NASA's official website.

There is a lot of technology that NASA shows in a special NASA area, one of which is the Alta-X drone developed by Firefly Aerospace. This drone is designed to carry any object with an integrated fast release system at the top and bottom of the drone.

According to NASA's head of Communications Armstrong, Kevin Rohrer, this aircraft and technology performance is one of the great steps to attract students. Rohrer hopes that this annual event can continue for the next few years.
