Oppo Prepares Two Additional Models For The X8 Find Series By 2025

JAKARTA Chinese tech giant Oppo is likely to expand the launch of flagship phones for the Find X8 series in early 2025. After introducing Find X8 and Find X8 Pro powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9900 processor earlier this month, the latest rumors indicate two additional models in the line will be present in the first quarter of next year.

This information was first shared by technology tipster, Smart Pikachu, via uploads on Weibo signaling Oppo's plans to present more than just an anticipated Ultra variant.

Flexible History Of Find X Series

In the course of the evolution of the Find X series, Oppo has never set a definite number of models. For example, the Find X2 and X3 series consist of four different models, while the Find X5 series is simpler with three variants.

In the Find X6 and X7 series, Oppo only released two models each, with the first Ultra model present as Find X7 Ultra in January 2024. Interestingly, the Pro variant, which was absent from Find X7, is now again presented in the Find X8 series.

Although Oppo has not disclosed the specifications and official names for the additional model, speculation is circulating that this manufacturer may present the Lite or Neo variant, given a similar approach has been made to the previous series.

The launch of the Pro Mini model in the X200 series by Vivo recently, also strengthened Oppo's possibility of adding a compact flagship variant to the Find X8 series. Some rumors say that five major mobile phone brands in China are considering this year's compact flagship options, and Oppo could be one of them.

Oppo is expected to release the Find X8 Ultra model in Q1 2025. If the company really plans to expand its Find X8 lineup, more details on these new phones will likely appear in the coming months.
