JAKARTA AI Overview, a summary feature based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Google Search, is now being expanded to more than a hundred countries and territories in various parts of the world. This expansion began on October 28.

By expanding the AI Overview feature, Google wants to reach one billion global users every month. This target seems to be achieved because many users are helped by the AI Overview, one of which is to quickly trace information.

"With AI's summary in Search, people are now easier than ever to find the information they need and find relevant sites across the web, which open up more opportunities to connect with publishers, businesses and creators," Google said through its official website.

In addition to expanding its features, Google also added language support for AI Overview. This feature will display languages according to the country where users are located. If not appropriate, users can choose the language manually.

"If you are in any country that provides AI Overviews, now you can get it in any language that is currently supported, including English, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish," Google explained.

Overall, the AI Overview display in various countries will remain the same. Users can access the site icon at the top right to view sites that are used as references or taken to be quoted by AI Overview.

Google also inserts ads in special slots whenever users ask questions related to goods. By displaying ads at the bottom of AI Overview, users can be more connected to relevant products or brands.
