JAKARTA After setting up a retail shop in Boston last April, Google will open its fifth retail store on November 1. This Google Store is located at the Oakbrook Center outside Chicago.

The news about the opening of this fifth retail store has emerged since last July, shortly after the Boston Google Store was inaugurated. Just like other stores, Google Stores in this shopping center will sell a number of Google-made hardware, such as cell phones and tablets.

Quoting from 9to5google, the fifth Google Store will officially open around 10 am Chicago time. For the service schedule, the store will operate every day with different operating times. Especially on Sundays, the Google Store opens from 11 noon to 6 pm.

In addition to buying Google hardware in stores, purchases can also be made online. Google also adds payment options through the Google Store website and taking goods at retail stores as well as services in the form of Pixel phone repairs.

The Google Store at the Oakbrook Center is the first retail store Google has built in a shopping location. Previously, Google had always built its retail store in an independent location far from its competitors.

At the Oakbrook Center, Google will face various retail stores that are its competitors, one of which is the Apple Store. Although the store's launch is slightly different from the other four stores, Google has made considerable progress.

Google Store is not available across the country so the store is also developing very slowly. Unlike Apple Stores that can have dozens of stores in one country, Google only has five stores in selected countries.
