JAKARTA Google began releasing Chrome Canary for Android devices starting last October 12. Through this update, the appearance of the address bar at the top will be moved to another side of the screen.

According to a 9to5google report, Chrome Canary with version 131.0,6772.0 beta will move the address bar to the bottom. Although only the address bar position has changed, Chrome's interface looks very different from before.

In this latest view, all icons and features parallel to the address bar will be moved to the bottom, including the vertical three-dot icon in the right corner. When tapped, the icon will display a row of menus as usual without changing the menu sequence.

This latest design is similar to Google's plan a few years ago. In 2016, the company also wants to change the address bar, tab transfer, and other menus that were previously at the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen.

However, the current Chrome Canary design is much simpler and completer than in 2016, where it looks very stiff. However, this new change is still in its early stages.

For now, a new change can be seen in the address bar. If the tab transfer is tapped, it looks the same as before with the New Tab menu on the top left side of the screen and the vertical three-dot icon on the top right side of the screen.

This new display has not been widely launched. Apart from being released in the Canary version of Chrome, only Pixel 9 Pro users with Android 15 QPR1 Beta 2 can see this feature. It is not yet known when the stable version will be released widely to all users.
