It's Been A Year, Meta Hasn't Released WhatsApp For IPad

JAKARTA The WhatsApp application for the iPad is still uncertain today. Even though Meta, the company that houses the instant messaging platform, has promised the presence of its application since last year.

News about the launch of the iPadOS version of WhatsApp emerged after Meta rebuilt the WhatsApp app for macOS. Not only promising, Meta has also launched the Beta version of WhatsApp on the iPad last September.

This beta version gives hope to iPad users who have been waiting for the original WhatsApp application for years. The reason is, the iPhone version of WhatsApp cannot run on the iPad, unlike Instagram, Threads, or other Meta apps.

To find out what delayed this app for a year, 9to5mac tried to access the beta version of WhatsApp iPadOS. The app display shows that the feature is still exactly the same as the iPhone and hasn't changed yet.

This shows that the creation of the WhatsApp application for the iPad didn't go well. It's not known if this is due to a bug that is difficult to remove or because the iPad version of the WhatsApp launch project has been postponed.

Most likely, Meta did delay the creation of the original WhatsApp app for the iPad. This is not so surprising because the application under Meta always has a poor track record on the iPad, including Facebook and Instagram.
