JAKARTA - After the long wait and rumors, the Rockstar Games finally announced that the first game of Red Dead Redemption will be coming soon on October 29 on PC.

"For the first time in its multilevel legacy, John Marston's beloved journey can be experienced on PCs with amazing new details," the studio wrote in an announcement on its official website.

Developed with Double Eleven, a new version of the game adds a dedicated improvement to PC players including the original 4K resolution of up to 144 hours on compatible hardware, monitoring support for Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full-function keyboards and mice.

There is also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upgrade technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, customizable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.

Rockstar Game, which was first released in 14 years, is only available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. And then launched for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on October 13 last year.

In its announcement, Rockstar Games also announced that in addition to its main games, Red Dead Redemption downloadable content (DLC), namely Undead Nightmare which is currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox, will also be released for PC simultaneously.
