Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Munculan Secara Tiba-tiba Di Perangkat Xiaomi HyperOS

The Jakarta Qualcomm is preparing to introduce Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but as such, the company is also developing several other SoC (System on Chip). One of them is Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, which was detected through the HyperOS Xiaomi software. With model number SM8735, this processor is now being tested by a number of brands, including Xiaomi. The appearance of Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is quite surprising, especially since Qualcomm hasn't officially launched Snapdragon 8 Gen 4.

Although the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 has not been introduced, the existence of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 detected through the Xiaomi HyperOS has succeeded in attracting attention. Previously, it was reported that the Redmi Turbo 4 has been added to the IMEI database. The Redmi Turbo 3 itself uses the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip with model number SM8635. Now, in the Xiaomi HyperOS software, a new processor with model number SM8735 is most likely a processor to be used on the Redmi Turbo 4 which has been listed in the IMEI database.

Redmi Turbo 4 is expected to be sold globally under the POCO brand, although it is currently too early to discuss further details. The POCO F6 series was just introduced in June, so Xiaomi's plans could change. In addition, Xiaomi may use Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 on other phones.

This year, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 was first used on the Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro, followed by the Redmi Turbo 3. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor is expected to debut next year, with various active tests carried out by Qualcomm and Xiaomi.

Although there are no official details regarding the changes Qualcomm will make on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, the performance of the previous Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is quite similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It is estimated that the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 will also provide an equivalent performance to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 which is currently the flagship mainstay. However, this is just initial speculation and there is no definite information regarding the improvements or improvements that the processor will bring with the model number SM8735.

To be sure, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor is now being actively tested by Xiaomi and is expected to be part of the latest Xiaomi devices in the future.
