JAKARTA HarmonyOS, the latest operating system (OS) for Huawei phones, has blocked the ability to install Android-based apps. Instead, Huawei offers a large application library.
Since moving from EMUI to HarmonyOS, Huawei has continued to convince developers to present their applications on HarmonyOS NEXT. Now, the company is launching tens of thousands of new apps on app stores available on HarmonyOS NEXT.
"More than 10,000 meta-apps and services have been launched in the HarmonyOS NEXT application market to satisfy 99.9% of consumer usage time, marking comprehensive maturity and accelerated development," Huawei said in a press release.
Thousands of these applications can be presented thanks to partnerships with several large companies. Huawei says that they are supported by a thousand partners, some of whom are Ant Group, China UnionPay, and iFlytek.

The technology company from China explains that they continue to be committed to supporting developers every year. The good news is that the number of developers at Huawei Developer Alliance is increasing rapidly to 6.75 million.
The number of developers has increased up to ten times in five years. To invite more developers to release applications on HarmonyOS NEXT, Huawei is holding Hongmeng talent training to attract more talent.
