Galaxy S24 Ultra Beats All IPhone 16 Series In Battery Test

JAKARTA Apple's latest iPhone 16 series has indeed brought some improvements over its predecessor, but it doesn't seem to be enough to match the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in terms of battery life. Although Apple claims that the iPhone 16 series, especially the iPhone 16 Pro Max, offers a significant increase in battery life, test results from popular tech YouTuber Mr.Whosetheboss show different results.

In testing that mimics real use of popular apps such as social media, YouTube, and Slack'Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, with a 5,000 mAh battery, managed to last for 12 hours 31 minutes. This puts it at the top compared to the iPhone 16 Pro Max which was only able to last 11 hours 22 minutes. However, the iPhone 16 Pro Max showed a significant increase from its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which only lasted 9 hours 35 minutes.

The entire iPhone 16 lineup, including the Plus and Pro models, shows an increase over the iPhone 15 series. However, none of them can outperform the battery life of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Apple relies on second-generation 3nm chips that are more efficient than 4nm chips on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but this is not enough to close the gap in battery life.

The test results also emphasize that although the iPhone 16 offers an upgrade, users who prioritize battery life may be more interested in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It should be noted that battery test results may vary depending on individual use patterns.
