Hamster Kombat Prepares Airdrop 3 Billion HMSTR Token Via Binance

Hamster Kombat announced the launch of the HMSTR token on The Open Network (TON) which will be carried out later this month. Not only that, but Hamster Kombat will also distribute billions of tokens through an exclusive airdrop program for Binance users. The program is expected to be one of the largest in crypto-based gaming history on Telegram, hoping to attract the attention of millions of new users and strengthen their position on the market.

According to an official announcement made on Thursday, September 12, the anonymous development team from Hamster Kombat allocated 3 billion of the total 100 billion supply of HMSTR tokens for the Binance Launchpool campaign. Binance users in legally permitted countries, except the United States, can participate in this campaign by staking Binance coins (BNB) and FDUSD stablecoins to get part of the HMSTR token. The campaign will take place from September 19 to 26, 2024, coinciding with the official launch of the HMSTR token.

This strategy reminds previous token campaigns at Binance Launchpool, such as PIXEL and PORTAL, where Binance users participated with a stake of billions of dollars to win new tokens. Hamster Kombat hopes for similar success at the launch of their tokens, especially with a player base that has reached more than 300 million users.

However, behind the enthusiasm for the launch of this token, there are concerns regarding the ability of The Open Network (TON) in dealing with the surge in demand. Given that this network had experienced two disruptions at the end of August 2024, there are questions about whether TONS can manage activity volumes that are expected to soar as Hamster Kombat launches.

This is not the first time Telegram-based crypto games have launched tokens on TONS. In September, several other games such as Catizens and Rocky Rabbit are also planning to launch their tokens, which are adding to the pressure on network capacity. In addition, Elon Musk's theme game, X Empire, is also scheduled to launch tokens after HMSTR.

This massive airdrop is expected to further strengthen the dominance of Hamster Kombat in the Telegram-based crypto game world, while introducing HMSTR tokens as one of the digital assets of interest to investors. Binance users participating in staking at Launchpool will gain early access to this token, potentially providing a huge advantage if HMSTR prices rise after launch.
