Garena announced that the 2024 Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals will be present in Brazil on 8-24 November 2024, at the Carioca Arena, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with a total prize pool of 1 million US dollars (IDR 16 billion).

FFWS Global Finals 2024 will start with the Knockout Stage round on 8-17 November 2024. In this round, the 18 best teams entering the final round will fight 6 games for 2 weeks to fight for the top 12 tickets.

After that, the team ranked in Top 12 will qualify for the Point Rush Stage on November 22-23, 2024 to collect additional points before competing in the Grand Finals on November 24, 2024.

Of the 18 teams competing in the Finals, there are 8 teams from Southeast Asia that were taken based on the top 8 in the FFWS 2024 Fall Grand Finals. Meanwhile, the Latin American region will be represented by 3 teams from FFWS Latin America, 4 teams from FFWS Brazil. Finally, there will be a team from FFWS Pakistan.

Meanwhile, two other teams, the WASK team from Morocco, have been confirmed to qualify as representatives of the Middle East & Africa region after winning the 2024 FFWS MEA last month.

They became the second team to qualify for the 2024 FFWS Global Finals, following Team Falcons from Thailand, who got tickets through their achievements as champions at the Esports World Cup: Free Fire in Riyadh in July 2024.

In the midst of a fight for tickets to the 2024 FFWS Global Finals, it is still fierce in the Southeast Asia region, currently five Indonesian teams are still struggling in the 2024 Fall FFWS SEA to secure the top 12 position to keep hope of qualifying for the Grand Finals.

Until Week 3 FFWS SEA 2024 Fall, RRQ Kazu became the best team from Indonesia. They were able to rank #2 standings with 570 points. Meanwhile, ONIC Olympus (383) and EVOS Divine (382) are ranked #9 and #10.

Finally, Bigetron Delta (359) and Indostars (260) sit in the rankings #12 and #15, respectively. With three weeks remaining, the chances for all Indonesian teams to qualify for the Grand Finals are still open as long as they can improve performance in the rest of the Knockout Stage round.
