JAKARTA Google launched a stable version of ChromeOS 128 on September 4. The operating system (OS) for this Chromebook gets a lot of changes, including the launch of some new features.

Through the Google aid page, an employee named Josh explained that ChromeOS 128 got a new feature called Snap Group. This feature was launched to group windows and manage the windows easily.

"The cropgroup is formed when you pair two windows for a separate screen. You can reunite the window, change its size at the same time, or move them both as a group," Josh said in his statement.

Another feature that Google launches is a reminder of privacy control in ChromeOS App settings. To see this new control, users only need to open the Settings, click the App menu, then select the desired app in your App Managing.

Next, Google added Optical Character Recognition (OCR) support in the ChromeOS camera application. With the OCR, users can extract text from images taken easily. This capability is directly integrated with machine learning.

"This allows copying and text search of images, text pronunciation of images by screen readers, and creation of searchable PDFs from images," Josh explained. "text detection in Photo Mode (can) be disabled and activated from Settings."

Another feature that ChromeOS users will see is the separation of notifications embedded from other notifications, the magnification glass following ChromeVox, Automatic Strengthening Control (AGC) to optimize the microphone volume, and the eased Access Point Name Management (APN).
