Volkswagen And AirConsole Present Game Experience In Cars

JAKARTA - Volkswagen AG is partnering with gaming platform AirConsole to provide a unique in-car gaming experience for drivers and passengers.

Along with product lines ID.7, ID.5, ID.4, and ID.3, in a press release Volkswagen said that AirConsole will also be available for the new Tourers, Passat, Tiguan, Golf, and Golf Estate.

The game platform AirConsole is expected to provide fun entertainment for people who are traveling, while they are charging the vehicle or while resting.

AirConsole launch will be available for the first time in European countries from mid-September. But, ahead of the turn of the year 2024/2025, Volkswagen plans to expand its offerings with several more games for more European countries.

At launch, players only need their smartphones, which function as controllers, and VW Active Info Display. All new games from the game platform AirConsole will later be available on the infotainment screen.

After starting the AirConsole application in the car, you can connect between a smartphone and a vehicle made by scanning the QR code on the display screen. Then players can start playing immediately.
