JAKARTA Xiaomi has hit the world of technology again with their latest announcement of the Xiaomi HyperOs 2.0, which is touted as the world's first fully artificial intelligence-based operating system (AI). The move follows the launch of Xiaomi HyperOs' success 1.0 years ago, marking the end of the MIUI era after more than a decade.

In a post on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform, Xiaomi Group President Lu Weibing, gave a little leak about HyperOs 2.0. He mentioned that smartphones that have been claimed to be "AI" actually rely solely on certain AI-based features. However, Xiaomi HyperOs 2.0 has the ambition to present a fully built operating system based on a large AI model, which will revolutionize the way devices interact with their users.

HyperOs 2.0 will integrate AI technology at a deeper level in software, making it not just an additional feature, but as the main foundation of the operating system. The move is in line with global trends in which AI technology increasingly dominates various aspects of digital life, from smart home devices to cell phones and cars.
