JAKARTA - The Shiba Inu community, known as the 'Shib Army', has again issued a stern warning to its members regarding the increasing number of frauds targeting altcoin users. In recent weeks, various malicious tactics have been identified by Shibarmy Scam Alerts, the community's official scam warning channel.

They found a number of websites and individuals trying to trick users in various ways, ranging from asking users to "improve" or "synchronize" their wallets to offering fake rewards.

In a series of posts on X social media, the Shiba Inu community warned about fake web site and individuals' trying to trick users by asking them to "improve" or "synchronize" their wallets. These tactics are designed to steal user funds by gaining access to their wallet information.

Quoted from Crypto News, the Shiba Inu community said, "Don't let the fraudster take what you've tried so hard. Stay alert, stay safe, and protect your crypto."

Additionally, the warning comes just hours after Shibarmy Scam Alerts reported about a fake Telegram group targeting the Shibarium community. These groups are designed to scam and drain user wallets by promoting fake tokens or offering fake rewards.

Several Shiba Inu fans reported receiving offers of fake airdrops via Telegram, which then prompted the community to take the issue to social media platforms. One of the fraud groups on Telegram, calling itself K9 Finance DAO, claims to be Shiba Inu's official partners of liquid staking and asks members to continue the airdrop in exchange for a 2,000 US Dollar KNINE token (approximately IDR 30 million).

Not only that, the fraudster also disguised himself as one of the founders of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, and asked members to click on the link provided.

"Along with the continued development of the Shiba community, it is very important for us to remain vigilant and careful of fraud," said the scam warning group.

They also emphasized the importance of understanding the differences between projects in the Shiba ecosystem and external partnerships. Projects in the Shiba Inu ecosystem are directly related to the vision and development of Shiba Inu, while partners are external teams that have signed contracts to work with the Shiba community.
