Telkomsel And Huawei Present The First 5G Stallone Technology In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Telkomsel, the leading telecommunications service provider in Indonesia, launched the implementation of the first standalone 5G (SA) technology in Indonesia in collaboration with global technology solutions provider Huawei.

Through this collaboration, Telkomsel will provide 5G SA technology with the best RAN solutions to support digital transformation in port operations by presenting end-to-end technology, ranging from Cloud Phone (toC), Redcap (toH) devices, to artificial intelligence (AI).

Thus, Telkomsel is also the first digital telecommunications company in Indonesia to adopt 5G SA technology, supported by mobile private network (MPN), network slicing, and edge computing.

"This collaboration with Huawei is not only proof of our strategic initiative but also in line with the spirit of Indonesia, which inspires us to contribute to the progress of the nation," said Telkomsel Network Director Indra Mardiatna in an official statement on Monday, August 19.

By utilizing the power of technological advances, Telkomsel aims to ensure that Indonesians can enjoy more benefits, positioning our country as the leader of digital infrastructure in Southeast Asia.
