JAKARTA - Shocking news came from the SHIB coin meme. This time, the leader of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Shytoshi Kusama, gave a massive response to the request of the community who wanted the SHIB burning to be carried out.

This response comes aftermins, marketing leader Shiba Inu, revealed the SHIB roadmap for the next three years. The roadmap includes several interesting projects such as WOOFVertise, SHY Mode, and Shib.io Metaverse.

Through uploads on social media X on August 14, 2024, badminton emphasizes that every step in this roadmap is carefully planned and is being executed methodically. Despite enthusiasm for this announcement, some community members remain frustrated because the team is deemed unable to start a significant SHIB burning.

Amid the euphoria of the announcement, a number of community members expressed their dissatisfaction. One of the critics even accused the team, especially Kusama, of failing to meet community expectations. The criticism highlights the need for large fires that could trigger an increase in SHIB prices.

Responding to these demands, Kusama gave a riddled response. Through an upload on X, Kusama said that lighting the candles was easy, hinting that burning a small amount of SHIB was relatively simple.

However, Kusama added that lighting a fire that can warm the whole village takes longer. This suggests that it may take longer to start a significant SHIB burning that could impact SHIB prices.

The leader of the Shiba Inu ecosystem also emphasized that achieving greater burning, such as "nuclear fusion," takes longer. Kusama seemed to insinuate that critics who demand large arson only think of small burnings that may have a short-term effect on SHIB prices.

Meanwhile, the issue of arson has become a hot topic among the Shiba Inu community. Many users attribute the unsatisfactory performance of SHIB to the circulating supplies that are too large, and believe that massive burning could have a significant impact on prices.

To respond to this concern, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team has set the SHIB on fire using part of the revenue generated from various projects, such as the Shibarium.

For example, the team managed to burn more than 56 billion SHIB tokens by utilizing part of Shibarium's gas costs. It didn't stop there, the team also recently introduced a SHIB burning mechanism in Shibarium to strengthen this arson campaign.

However, the number of SHIBs that can be burned through this protocol depends on Shibarium adoption. As more and more transactions in Shibarium, BONE will be used more and more to pay costs, with 70% of the basic cost of the network being converted into burned SHIBs.

To date, joint efforts from communities and ecosystem teams have caused the burning of more than 410.72 trillion SHIB tokens, leaving a supply of 589.27 trillion tokens still in circulation.
