Google Launches Android 15 Beta 4.2 To Fix Pixel Issues

JAKARTA Google released the latest testing version of Android 15 on Tuesday, August 13. The company launched the Android 15 Beta 4.2 version which focuses more on problem fixes on Pixel phones. This software update includes an August security patch with code AP31,240617,015. Reporting from 9to5google, this update is available for the Pixel 6, Pixel Tablet 7, Pixel Fold, and Pixel 8 series. The last security patches launched last July focused only on masalag improvements on the phone. In contrast to the August security patch, Google will include improvements to the following issues.

All of these issues, including problems in phone calls, arise because the Pixel 9 series runs Android 14. In addition, there are some bugs that Google should fix on the software they launch. Beta 4.2 version is launched via an over-the-air (OTA) offered update system. Required devices to access beta or testing versions of Android 15 are the Pixel 6, Pixel 7, Pixel 8 series, Pixel Fold, and Pixel Tablets series.
