XL Axiata Improves Network Quality At IKN Ahead Of The 79th RI Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony

JAKARTA - Ahead of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Commemoration Effort which will be held on August 17 in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), PT XL Axiata Tbk (XL Axiata) also continues to improve network quality in the area.

Director & Chief Technology Officer of XL Axiata, I Gede Darmayusa, said that this effort was made because in the last year development activities in the IKN area were getting more massive. This of course contributes to increasing XL Axiata traffic, reaching more than 300 percent.

"For this reason, in addition to focusing on improving network quality within the IKN area, we are also improving network quality at infrastructure development points and IKN supporting facilities such as toll roads, airports, hospitals, hotels, and other supporting facilities in collaboration with the IKN Authority," said Gede in his official broadcast.

In addition, to provide convenience and support the success of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day Commemoration Ceremony at IKN, XL Axiata specifically strengthens the network by adding 3 units of Mobile BTS (MBTS), which are placed around the location of the ceremony, coordinating with the IKN Authority.

In the future, as service traffic continues to increase and the need for services at IKN, XL Axiata is committed to continuing to increase capacity and infrastructure there.

"Especially when IKN has really started operating, with many people starting to work and live there, of course XL Axiata needs to provide adequate networks to ensure customer convenience and convenience," he continued.

In addition to focusing on improving network quality, XL Axiata also ensures customer service in the IKN area. In terms of customer service, XL Axiata has provided several customer service channels, namely, XL Center Online and digital services.
