Xiaomi Plans To Launch A Foldable Screen Phone On March 29 Along With Mi 11 Pro

JAKARTA - Xiaomi plans to launch their newest smartphones, Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra on March 29. At the event, Xiaomi is also rumored to be releasing their first foldable screen phone.

Reporting from Gizmochina, Xiaomi will also launch another product, namely the Mi Notebook Pro. Recent reports say that the Xiaomi folding screen phone has passed the 3C certification process. This means that the Xiaomi folding phone will be launched in the near future.

So far the Xiaomi folding screen phone is part of the Mi MIX experimental device. This folding smartphone supports 5G networks and has a hinge design that folds like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.

Other reports also reveal that the Xiaomi folding phone will be equipped with a 7-inch screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. This Xiaomi's first folding smartphone device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.

Meanwhile, in terms of cameras, this foldable smartphone has a 108 MP main camera in its triple camera module. The new Xiaomi device will also run MIUI 12. A battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh complements the new phone.

However, until now the company has not provided more detailed information regarding the first Xiaomi foldable phone. Detailed information is likely to be announced in the near future.
