JAKARTA On July 19, it was revealed that Apple passed a pirated streaming application called the Collect Cards: Store Box into the App Store. The store has been available on the App Store since last year.Collect Cards page: Store Box includes screenshots showing that the application is a place to manage photos and videos. However, when downloaded and opened, the app actually contains content from various streaming platforms. This app can access Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, Apple TV, and various other platforms. Apple has removed its app after the Collect Cards ranks second in a row of free apps for the Brazilian App Store. Once removed, the developers again cheated Apple because the app is back on the App Store. Not just one application managed to qualify, but some applications with different developers and nearly the same names.

This app is still called Collect Cards, but with additional captions like Birthday Check or Sugar. Collect Cards: Birthday Check ranks third in a row of free apps after launch, but the app function is still the same. Quoted from 9to5mac, the app managed to qualify because it uses geofence. This technology can hide the original function of the application for users in the US. Therefore, Collect Cards can pass Apple's inspection. Seeing the appearance of this application once removed, Apple seems to have not prepared a method to prevent similar applications from entering. Apple has not provided a response to this problem, but the application has been removed again from the App Store.
