After Being A Commentator, Chelsie Monica's Followers Immediately Skyrocketed

JAKARTA - The chess duel between Dewa Kipas aka Dadang Subur and Grand Master (GM) Irene Sukandar has left an interesting story. One of them is the commentator Chelsie Monica who stole the attention of netizens.

The figure of Master International Woman (MIW) suddenly became a trending topic on Twitter in Indonesia. Even from VOI's monitoring, the number of @chelsie.monica Instagram account's followers immediately jumped sharply.

Before the match, Chelsie's social media account only had around 3,000 followers. But a few hours later, Chelsie's Instagram account has been followed by 61 thousand new followers and may continue to grow.

Chelsie Monica is an Indonesian chess athlete. The virgin, who was born on November 2, 1995, in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, has even been ranked 3rd in Indonesian Female Chess.

Chelsie has achieved a series of achievements. Her first title was obtained in the ASEAN Age-Group Chess Championship tournament in Thailand with the title of 2nd winner. Then the first Grand Master title was obtained by Chelsie at the 2012 Chess Olympiad tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.
