Reviewing Data Center In Sentul, The Minister Of Communication And Information Is Committed To Accelerate Recovery Of PDNS 2

Minister of Communication and Information Budi Arie Setiadi visited Neutra DC, a data center managed by Telkomsigma in Babakan Madang District, Sentul, West Java.

Budi said that this visit was intended to review or ensure that the data migration process after the recovery of the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS) 2 ransomware attack went well and safely.

Not to forget, the Minister of Communication and Information also reiterated that currently the government is committed to accelerating the recovery of all services, very carefully and carefully.

"Reliability checks and data integrity of PDNS play an important role in providing government services," said the Minister of Communication and Information, quoted on Thursday, July 25.

Based on the latest information from the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Marshal TNI (Ret.) Hadi Tjahjanto, 86 services have been successfully recovered.

Budi stated that the Ministry of Communication and Information is implementing a decryption strategy to restore the assets or services of the affected ministries, institutions and local governments.

"Gradually a number of government services are recovering through a decryption method or opening up hacker-locked data," he said further.

Previously, the Minister of Communication and Information visited PDNS 2 managed by Telkomsigma in Surabaya on July 16, 2024 to ensure that the acceleration of handling the Brain Chiper Ransomware attack took place optimally.

The day after, he conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) at the PDNS 2 Temporary Data Center in South Tangerang, Banten. Then, on July 19, 2024, the Minister of Communication and Information visited the Security Operation Center PDNS 1 which is managed by Lintasarta.
