Oura Ring 4 Seen In Certification, Ready To Challenge Samsung Galaxy Ring

JAKARTA - Oura Ring 4 has been seen in the certification process, showing that its launch is in sight. The certification includes model numbers OA11, product images, and some of the sizes tested. The product data label shows that OA11 is Oura Ring 4.

Oura Ring 3 was launched in October 2021, so its successor has been awaited for a long time. Currently, the Samsung Galaxy Ring is in hot talks, but Oura deserves credit for starting the smart ring market. Although Oura has not made an official announcement about product refreshment, Oura Ring 4's appearance in the certification shows that its launch will be soon.

The certification includes images of the smart ring in size 10. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Ring which has a concave structure, Oura seems to still use flat designs for the next product. No bulges are visible in those images.

Product labels include OA11 and OA12, but further information about OA12 has not been found. The label also mentions that the product is Oura Ring 4, with an example of gold and size 15. Oura Ring 3 is available in a smooth Horizon variant and Heritage variant with a plateau design, so it's possible that OA11 is Ring 4 Horizon while OA12 could be Ring 4 Heritage.

Certification documents state that OA11 is tested in sizes 7, 9, 13, and 15. If possible, Oura Ring 4 may be available in sizes of at least 7 15, although smaller and larger sizes may also be being tested and not yet visible.

As a reference, Oura Ring 3 is available in size 6 13 with a choice of Silver, Black, Stealth, and Gold colors, with Horizon variants available in addition to Brushed Titanium and Rose Gold.

Although Oura has not confirmed the successor to Oura Ring 3, there is enough evidence to suggest that Oura Ring 4 will be coming soon. Oura Ring 3 was launched in October 2021, so it is time for the successor to be launched to be more competitive with the Galaxy Ring.
