Google Photo Develops My Week Feature, Similar To Story On Instagram

JAKARTA Google Photo was originally designed to store photos and videos in the cloud, but now it's more than just storage. There are many advanced editing features used in the application. Although many features have been added, Google will launch a new feature called My Week. This feature was first seen about five months ago and many thought that this feature was almost similar to Memories in Photo. However, based on the Android Police report, this feature is more like a Story on Instagram and will appear on a follower account. When this feature is widely released, users of the Photo app will see Introdudcing My Week in the top right corner of the screen. When the notification is clicked, users will be asked to set up the feature and upload photos that the user says are interesting. Google says that the selected photo is a photo, "which brought your last few weeks on." After selecting the photo, users will be asked to invite other Google Photo accounts to view their photos. Invited people will see weekly highlights in a vertical form similar to the Story display on Instagram.

In addition to viewing photos uploaded on My Week, invited Google Photo users can also give a like or leave comments. This feature is still being developed and doesn't know when it will be launched. Actually, it's still unclear why Google added this feature to the Photo application. So far, the application is still a normal editing and photo storage platform. With this feature, Google Photo can feel like social media.
