JAKARTA Although known as a long-form or video platform with a long format, YouTube continues to encourage the use of YouTube Shorts. One of YouTube's efforts is to launch several new features. There are five features that YouTube will add to Shorts in the near future, including automatic layout, Text to Speech, Add-Owned stickers, stylized auto captions, and the latest remix tool. Automatic layout is a feature that can help content creators convert long-formed videos into short formats. When added to Shorts, YouTube will shift, enlarge, and crop videos automatically. Text to Speech is a feature that is almost similar to videos on TikTok. Content creators can add narrations that are spoken by entering videos, adding text, then tap the Add Voice icon in the upper left corner. Shorts will display four voice options and users can select one of them. Next, there is a sticker Adding Your Owns like on Instagram. When viewing the sticker on other people's Shorts, users can click on the sticker and add the desired video.

To make it easier for content creators in Shorts, YouTube has added a text creation feature automatically so that videos can look more interesting or interactive. Although text will be created automatically, creators can edit and customize their style of language. Shorts has launched several remix tools earlier this year and YouTube will launch a tool to remix a remix. Simply put, this feature can make you collaborate and create videos without stopping. For example, when you see videos that have been collaborated by other creators, you can still press the collab button to make the video more interesting. This feature is similar to How you work on TikTok that can make users collaborate in one frame.
