Galaxy Watch 6 Receiving One UI 6 Beta 3 Update Amid Launch Of New Series

JAKARTA - At the launch of a new product on July 10, most of Samsung's attention focused on launching the new Galaxy Watch line. However, the company also used this opportunity to begin launching One UI 6 Watch beta 3 for the Watch 6 series.

The Galaxy Watch 7 is Samsung's newest smartwatch series. The series consists of two more affordable Galaxy Watch 7 models and the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra which is tough and long-lasting. However, it seems that Samsung wants to get rid of the numbers and remains using the name "Galaxy Watch Ultra." In addition, the brand also announced the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6.

Both watch models come with Wear OS 5, and One UI 6 Watch - the latest software available for Samsung's flagship wearable devices. The previous three series only got the beta version of this OS.

During the launch event, Samsung began rolling out the One UI 6 Watch beta version 3 for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. This update is available to users in the US and Korea, with a size of 310MB under the identification of the ZXG3 firmware version.

The change note notes that some "big changes" come to this watch series. Including improving system stability, solutions to reboot problems experienced by some users, and increasing battery life.

The known problem where the screen is always on is not dead when the watch is removed from the wrist is still not fixed in this version, but Samsung is working to fix it at the next 6 Watch One UI beta.

Samsung noted that the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 lineups will soon get this third beta, although the specifications are not disclosed. Those who order the Galaxy Watch 7 series will see a new OS in its final form in Samsung's latest watch.
