JAKARTA - In the latest agreement, Apple will integrate ChatGPT into iOS 18 which will be launched later this year, strengthening relations between Apple and OpenAI. When WWDC24, Apple announced that iPhone users will be able to send questions to OpenAI chatbots when Siri's response is deemed inadequate.
This collaboration does not involve financial compensation, but Apple will get the role of observer on the OpenAI board.
According to Bloomberg, Apple Fellow, Phil Total, will get the role of observer on the OpenAI board later this year.
