Samsung’s New Family, Galaxy A52 And A72, This Is How Much They Cost In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Samsung has officially introduced three of the latest models in the Galaxy A series, namely the A52, A52 5G version, and the A72. The presence of this trio was revealed in the "Galaxy Awesome Unpacked" event which was held virtually.

Samsung's latest line of smartphones carries powerful specifications at an attractive price. The three Galaxy A series released the image of Samsung's middle-class mobile phones which were previously considered expensive for the specifications they carried.

"Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A72 carry the philosophy of the brand owned by Galaxy: the latest innovations, services, and features, at affordable prices", said Dr. TM Roh, President, and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics, Wednesday, 17 March.

Even though it looks similar and has the same feature specifications adopted by all of the latest Galaxy A devices. There are several distinguishing aspects that can be seen from the stretch of the screen and the battery capacity.

It's Got 90Hz Screen

The interesting thing about the Galaxy A Series family is that all the lines are equipped with a Super AMOLED type screen that has a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch-responsive rate of up to 180 Hz. This screen still carries Full HD + resolution and a punch hole as the front camera housing.

Still in the display aspect, the screens of the Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A72 have also been coated with Gorilla Glass 5 protective glass and have a brightness level of up to 800 nits which is claimed to remain bright even in hot sun. No less important, the screens of the Galaxy A52 and A72 are Eye Care Display certified.

Camera

Turning to the back, both the Galaxy A52 and A72 have four camera configurations, it's just that with different compositions. However, Samsung has provided a number of new features on the two phones.

Starting from Optical image stabilization (OIS), Single Take, super steady, 4K recording, and Fun Mode in collaboration with Snapchat. All of the camera's features and four lenses are accommodated in a square module.

The Galaxy A52 has a 64 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, a 5 MP depth sensor, and a 5 MP macro. This phone has 10x zoom capability.

Whereas on the Galaxy A72, Samsung still provides a 64 MP resolution main camera which is paired with a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, a 5 MP macro. The difference in this model is that Samsung adds an 8 MP telephoto lens which is equipped with optical zoom up to 3x and SpaceZoom up to 30x.

Hardware

The System on Chip (SoC) on these two phones uses the Snapdragon 720G chipset with two 6/8 GB RAM options, as well as an internal memory option (128/256 GB). There is a different version on the Galaxy A52 which already supports 5G networks compared to the regular variant.

The Galaxy A52 battery has a capacity of 4.500 mAh, while the Galaxy A72 has a larger capacity, which is 5.000 mAh. Both of them already support 25-watt fast charging technology and the Power Saving Mode feature which can help extend battery power for longer use.

All of the latest Galaxy A phones are equipped with IP67 certificates. In addition, there is an NFC feature for easy charging of electronic money balances, then there are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos features.

There is also an optical fingerprint scanner that is embedded under the surface of these four phones. The new Galaxy A series family is already running the Android 11 operating system with the One UI 3.0 interface.

All Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A72 lines come in Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome White, and Awesome Violet colors. Unlike the Galaxy S21 trio, all the latest Galaxy A Series cellphones still have a charger adapter in their sales package.

This phone can be ordered starting March 17 with a launch promo program until March 19. For the official price tag, the Samsung Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A72 are sold from IDR 3 million to IDR 6 million in Indonesia.
