Agate Academy Launches TSA Game Fest With Kominfo And West Java Disparbud

JAKARTA - Agate International (Agate), through Agate Academy presents the TSA (Talent Scouting Academy) Game Fest, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo).

Also supported by the West Java Tourism and Culture Office (Disparbud), this activity aims to foster the talents of the Indonesian game industry by providing golden opportunities for students to compete, learn, and showcase their game creations.

"We are always committed to supporting the development of the local game industry and providing a platform for young talents to express themselves through their work," said Agate Shieny Aprilia Co-Founder and CEO.

TSA Game Fest will offer a series of activities that include competitions (Game Jam), training (Showcase), and exhibitions.

The competition begins with the Game Jam stage, where 40 teams will compete to make a game demo within one week, starting from July 12 to July 21, 2024.

The next selection will be carried out to select the 20 best teams that will continue to the intensive training stage.

"Later on, the results of this training can be converted into SKS as a substitute for course," said Plh. Head of the Center for Professional and Certification Development at the Ministry of Communication and Information, Anny Triana.

Participants who pass the preliminary stage will undergo direct training with experienced mentors from the fields of Programming, Game Design, Art, and Product Management which will be held during August 2024.

The exhibition will be the culmination of the activity, where the top 10 teams will showcase their work in Bandung on 28-29 September 2024.

Visitors will be able to try out the genus game produced by the 10 teams directly, while the jury will choose the 3 best teams that will compete for a total prize of 30 million rupiah.
