JAKJARTA - software company HubSpot said on Friday June 28 that it was investigating a cybersecurity incident targeting its customers.

"On June 22, we identified a security incident involving malicious perpetrators targeting a number of HubSpot customers and trying to gain unauthorized access to their accounts," a HubSpot spokesman said.

The company said that hackers managed to gain unauthorized access to less than 50 HubSpot accounts and there were no new incidents of hacking in the last 24 hours until 1600 ET on Friday.

"Hubspots are taking steps to protect their customers and data," he added.

HubSpot is a US-based company specializing in customer relationship management software (CRM) and marketing automation, and has a market value of nearly $30 billion per Friday.

Currently, it remains unclear to what extent this incident was and how many HubSpot customers were affected.

HubSpot said it had more than 216.000 corporate clients, and called Discord, Eventbrite, Talkspace, and others big customers.
