Tokocrypto Achieves Award As The Largest Crypto Tax Creator In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Tokocrypto, a crypto asset trading platform in Indonesia, received an award from the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes South Jakarta I (DG Regional Office of South Jakarta I) as one of the taxpayers with the largest contribution in Indonesia.

The award, which was handed over directly to the CEO of Tokocrypto, Yudhono Rawis, on June 6, was given for Tokocrypto's high compliance as a Taxpayer and its large contribution to state revenues.

This award is proof of our commitment to comply with applicable regulations and contribute to Indonesia's development. We are always obedient in reporting and depositing taxes from every transaction made on the Tokocrypto platform," Yudho said in a statement received on Tuesday, June 11.

Yudho also added that the awards they received showed the Tokocrypto business was running well and produced significant profits, so that it could make a big tax contribution to the country.

"We hope to continue to play an active role in exploring the potential tax revenue from the digital economy sector, including crypto asset trading transactions," he added.

Tokocrypto plays an important role in encouraging the growth of crypto tax revenues in Indonesia. In March 2024, Tokocrypto deposited a tax of more than IDR 45 billion, which is the largest deposit in 2024 so far.

This puts Tokocrypto on par with other large companies in the fields of insurance, mining, e-commerce, and fintech which also received similar awards.
