Threads Support Predictive Re-motion On Android

JAKARTA Threads, Meta's microblog platform, now gains predictive back gestures support or predictive re-motion. This new feature will make it easier for users to return to the interface. This feature was first introduced on Android 13, but users must activate the Developer option first. The function of this feature is quite simple, namely improving movement navigation with prior master or screen previews. On Android 14, the predictive re-motion feature has not undergone any changes or developments. However, in the released Android 15 beta version, support that makes this navigation easier will be enabled by default. Although Android 15 has not yet been launched to the public version, Threads has already launched such capabilities on Android phones. Threads is not the only application that activates predictive re-motion, but the presence of this feature remains an improvement. To sense smoother motion navigation, the Threads app must be updated to version 332.0.34.109 first. This feature also only works if you use Android 15 beta versions or activate the Developer mode on Android 13.

Although the function of this feature is very simple, Threads users can navigate posts on the platform easily. Users can exit the app with better navigation and re-open Threads to continue from the last post. Threads are indeed connected to Instagram, but this predictive re-motion feature is not available on the photo-sharing platform. It is also unknown whether Meta plans to expand that support to Instagram in the future.
