JAKARTA - The iMac Pro computer will soon meet its end. Because Apple announced "While supplies last" for the iMac Pro, which means that the all-in-one computer is still sold at the Apple Store, but will no longer be produced once the stock runs out.

Judging from the official Apple Store page, iMac Pro is still available in a standard version. The computer device is priced at USD 4,999 (equivalent to IDR 72 million).

As quoting from MacRumors, Monday, March 8, Apple revealed that its iMac Pro computer will be stopped and will not be sold to the public again if the stock of the computer equipment is sold out.

In 2017, the iMac Pro was introduced to the public. This computer is a computing device that has been upgraded from the previous version, namely the regular version of the iMac.

In terms of specifications, the iMac Pro itself is powered by an Intel Xeon CPU, 32 GB RAM which can be expanded up to 256 GB, and 1 TB of internal storage space. This computer also uses the Radeon Pro Vega 56 8GB HBM2 graphics.

Recent reports say that this iMac Pro got the last update in August 2020, so it can be more powerful. In this update, the iMac uses the 10th generation Intel Core i9 processor. In terms of RAM, it has also received an increase of 128 GB with 8 TB of storage space.

In addition, iMac also uses a Radeon 5700 XT graphics card with a 27-inch widescreen that has a resolution of up to 5K, has additional True Tone, and a cooling system that can make computer performance even better.

Although production of the iMac Pro computer will be discontinued, the fact is that Apple is instead planning to present a new version of the computer device that uses the M1 processor made by Apple itself. This latest computer is scheduled to launch in 2021.
