JAKARTA Hundreds ofNASA technologies include input from the public. This input is needed so that NASA can develop or improve their way of investing in multiple technologies.NASA creates a Space Technology Priority website and releases 187 lists of technologies that are considered to have deficiencies. All the added technology has gone through an initial stage identification process to find shortcomings from its technology. On the website, the public can assess NASA's space technology interests until May 13. Hundreds of technologies that enter the list are separated based on the field of capability and have explanations such as ID, title, to description. This Space Technology Priority Program is initiated by the Strategic Planning and Integration Team, part of the Directorate of Space Technology Missions (STMD). All input from the public will be accepted and sorted by the team.

After sorting out, STMD will determine the technology that is important for the success of NASA's mission. This is a new way to develop technology as needed. Thus, NASA should estimate the amount of development budget. "Understanding and prioritizing the most important efforts and having an impact on enabling STMD to direct the resources available appropriately to support the needs of NASA and the nation's missions as well as possible," NASA explained. According to the country's agency, the community needs to participate in the program. The reason is, filling this feedback form is, "an opportunity (for) you to help shape the future of space technology."
