JAKARTA - TikTok announced an update to Community Guidelines, to further clarify new rules and features that will help creators learn platform policies and check their account status.
In this update, TikTok updated the content eligibility standards that will appear in the For You tab. Thus, users will get a safer and more appropriate For You feed experience for a wide audience.
This means that accounts that repeatedly post content that violates For You feed standards will temporarily not be recommended and appear on other users' For You feeds. Thus, their accounts and content will be more difficult to find in search.
In addition, the company will begin to notify creators of which rules they broke and how they can file an appeal if they believe it was a mistake.
"Policies that do not tolerate (for example, incitement to violence) do not meet the requirements to be reminded, the account will be blocked immediately," TikTok wrote in its official statement.
Furthermore, TikTok will also make it easier for content creators to check their account status by launching the'Account Check' feature.
