JAKARTA - The new owner of X, formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk, has confirmed that chatbot X, namely Grok xAI, will be available to X Premium subscribers this weekend.

Musk has announced the expansion of Grok's availability in a recent post, along with an instructional video on how to post conversations with direct chatbots on the website X.

"At the end of this week, Grok will be enabled for all premium subscribers (not just premium+)," Musk wrote in the post.

Previously, Grok xAI had been available to X Premium+ subscribers since leaving the initial beta, but the paid rate on the social network cost US$16 or Rp349 thousand per month or US$168 or Rp3.69 million for a year in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the availability of Grok xAI for Premium-level users will cost half, namely 8 US dollars per month or 84 US dollars per year and Rp. 165 thousand per month and Rp. 1.71 million per year in Indonesia, thus Grok xAI can be obtained at a more affordable price.

Grok xAI is an attempt by Elon Musk to rival his predecessors such as OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Bard, Claude of Anthropic, and others.
